The Warrior on the label deliberately beckons you, wrapping her gaze around the
conspicuous wonder of this unique, cool microclimate. Created at high altitude in this rugged Mediterranean region, she embodies its essence in delicate slivers of aegean, sky and sapphire blue. Gazing into this vast landscape with its beautiful protruding rock formations, her eyes finally rest on a farm called Kromriver. Resolute albeit windswept on the mountain, she stands tall and fierce - braced against the treacherous extremities of blazing summers and snow-peaked winters. 

Subtle nuances of ochre on have face bear witness to the ferricrete and sandstone soils under her bare feet. Steadied on south-facing slopes, its iron content emerges in her strength, rewarding you with a wine that is richly laden with personality.
Focused and restrained, her floral kingdom is celebrated with delicate aromas of lemon and neroli, simulating the crisp air in a sheath of calm, leaving behind a sense of returning home without ever having lived there.

You find her in the glass where the perfume of white peach, lily and jasmine collides, belted with a vibrant acidity around her waist and a chalky mouthfeel, like her silhouette taking shape on the horizon. The wine wrenches you back to this infinite space that is the Cederberg mountains, offering it to you in all its bounty and glory in this Chardonnay so you, too, can emerge yourself in it.
