And wine is no different.
When a wine carries layers, complexity, and the subtle guidance of a human hand — allowing the grapes to reveal their full potential — it becomes something more than just a drink.
It becomes art.
I often think about the artwork my children create. To me, it is the most beautiful thing in the world. But would it hold the same meaning for someone else? If it is just one colour, without technique or complexity — is it still special? Would it resonate if you didn’t know the story behind it, or the child who made it?
And perhaps that is where understanding begins.
Not in over-analysing, not in searching for perfection — but in allowing ourselves to feel. To experience wine, or art, for what it was always meant to do: to evoke emotion. To create a moment. To leave behind something memorable.
That is when we begin to see the art in the liquid we are enjoying.
